Seaport-e

shipsIn July 2010, FE Associates was awarded a Navy Seaport-e prime contract.

SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in many critical functional areas, including Engineering, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and Program Management.  The Navy Systems Commands, including NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and the Office of Naval Research, compete their service requirements amongst the 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders.  The innovative SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members.  All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform.  Nearly 85% of Seaport-e contract–holders are small businesses, and many of the solicitations are small business set-asides.

FE Associates contracts in the National Capitol Zone (Zone 2) and is available both as a prime contractor and as a subcontractor to any primes working in the Seaport-e program.

Quality Assurance:

FE Associates has consistently delivered quality products and services to the client. As the result of previous contracts with the Navy, FE Associates delivered an innovative product, ARPPAS, to the government’s specifications.  As specified by the Navy, FE Associates has continued to refine and perfect the technology while at the same time developing MetaFEM, a tool carefully tailored to the Navy’s specific need for technology capable of accommodating a switch between engineering processors. Our products have invariably offered maximum quality to DOD and have been continually monitored for quality and responsiveness to Navy needs.

Further, FE Associates’ staff expertise in quality control management of contractors and government participants has been demonstrated by its contract with the Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System. The BMDS encompasses all major aerospace contractors, all three military services, and its own native engineering. FE Associates participates as a monitor and auditor of Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance throughout the enterprise, which includes both software and hardware configuration management. Its critical skills have been recognized by 5 years of continuous contracted participation in that role.
